I am Bart Thijssen, the proud owner and founder of Bath.
After years of floating around as a competitive swimmer and trainer, in 2013 I thought: “Why not start my own swimming school?” Since then, we’ve put together a fantastic team—I call it our swimming team, but really, they’re just the best swimming heroes you can find! With over 600 students, we offer everything from the Swimming ABC to private lessons, and even training for triathletes and adults who have the courage to jump into the deep end. Oh, and we don’t forget the little ones: we also give baby toddler swimming lessons and have recreational swimmers who have taken the pool to their hearts.
I am extremely proud of what we have achieved so far. In the coming years, we want to expand our success to even more locations—whether we need to swim, swim a few laps, or just brainstorm how to get even more people into the pool!
So, if you’re in the mood for some splashy swimming lessons, come along. I promise you’ll like it unless you don’t like water, but even then we might be able to work something out! See you soon!”
”As Bath’s manager, I am responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating and professional environment for both our students and our team of instructors.
I coordinate daily operations, manage the class schedule and ensure optimal staffing of our instructors. In addition, I am involved in the recruitment and training of our team, focusing on ensuring high educational quality and customer satisfaction. I also take care of the invoicing, so that everything is in order financially. My days are filled with planning, organization and the occasional big dive into the paperwork.
An important aspect of my job is maintaining a good relationship with parents and students. I am responsible for providing feedback and support, and I make sure that our customers feel heard and valued.
Bath is all about fun and growth in the water! With a great team, we make sure that every student feels welcome and valued. Together we make learning to swim a joyful and unforgettable experience for everyone. Come and splash with us!”

My name is Lieke and I work together with my nice colleagues in the Bath team. There I am working on providing the best swimming lessons, among other things. From the first splashes to the real swimming champions and from the first splash to a full-fledged swimming diploma
In addition to providing swimming lessons, I am working behind the scenes with my colleagues to discover new initiatives and ideas to make swimming even more fun and educational. I don’t like to sit still, because in my spare time I like to be found in the forest where I take the most beautiful walks with my blonde labradoodle. You can also meet me in the sports hall where I like to play a game of korfball fanatically.

My name is Kelly.
I live with my boyfriend, our daughter and dog. In addition to my work, I am actively involved as a volunteer in scouting. When we go on vacation, we like to camp.
In my youth I was active in the rescue brigade, where I started giving swimming lessons to children. Since then I have always been in the swimming pool world. Since December 1, 2022, I have been working for the cozy team of Bath, where I am also happy to teach you how to swim and have fun in the water. Hopefully we will see you soon in the pool.”

My name is Mireille and I work as a coordinator and swimming teacher at the cozy Bath.
I have been lucky enough to be able to turn my hobby into a profession. After obtaining my own swimming diplomas, I started swimming competitively and then I trained as an all-round swimming teacher.
In my spare time I can also be found a lot in, on or near the water.
In addition, I like to spend a lot of time with my two adult sons, my boyfriend and family/friends. I love to cook for them or have a drink together.

My name is Demi, I am 19 years old and I work as a swimming teacher here at the nice Bath.
I am a very social girl with an interest in sports, exercise and health. I am currently a third-year student for the HBO physiotherapy course with a completed minor in improving nutritional behavior.
In addition to swimming lessons, you will be able to see me in the gym, at karate, or maybe you will see me walking around outside with my dog Baco, a blond labrador!
