A swimming school, with real attention for your child.
At Bath, we think it’s important to really see every child. For that reason, we teach in small groups. You can choose from a group of 6, 4 or 2 children or you can opt for private lessons where your child swims alone together with his own instructor.
Compared to other swimming schools, the intensity of our lessons is very high. For that reason, swimming lessons with us “only” last 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of swimming, children get tired and the attention and thus the quality of the lesson drops. To prevent this, we choose to stop swimming lessons at Bath after half an hour. In this way, the lessons have a high intensity and so much is learned in half an hour as elsewhere in an hour.
As a parent, you can be present at the swimming lesson during the entire lesson. This way you can see your child well and keep a close eye on their progress. In addition, we work with an online system, in which the instructors keep track of individual progress. This combination gives you as a parent a good view of what is happening during the lessons and the progress your child is making. Would you rather not attend the swimming lessons? That is no problem either, you can of course also take a seat in our waiting room.
Children can start swimming lessons with us from the age of 4. However, our advice is to only start swimming lessons when your child is 4.5 years old. This is because children in the Netherlands go to school for the first time when they are 4 years old. Almost all children really have to get used to the new school rhythm and are often very tired after school. After a few months, most children are often used to it and that is the right time to start swimming lessons. By the way, you can also come to us with younger children, but for that we would like to refer you to our Splash Lessons.
Bath is a member of the ENVOZ. ENVOZ issues internationally recognized swimming diplomas and provides professional training for the swimming industry. Fun and safety are paramount and when your child has obtained the full Swimming ABC, we also offer the possibility to continue with us for the swimming proficiency diploma.
